2 things I usualy dont do. ( Thing 1 a different bus route to school )

OK so today I took a different route to school. I took the train to school today, usually I take 3 buses and a train to get to school (Kennedy bus to Sheppard and then another bus from Shepard to Don Mills and then a train ride from Don Mills to Shepard/Young Station where I take the 196B via Downsview bus to school). But today the bus I usually take was running late, so i took the other bus to Kennedy station and took the train all the way to Downsview Station where I took the regular York express bus to school.I was surprised at how faster the train ride compared to the bus ride to school would be today because usually Kennedy station is slow in the morning (especially at 6:47 am) and I was running late (slept in) today, because on Tuesdays I have to leave early at 6:30 am from home to get to school at 8 am. The train ride was faster than I expected (it could have been just plain luck also, you never know) and I arrived at school on time (exactly at 8 am). Today's change in my daily route schedule has made me realize that I should be more open to other options and take them whenever the opportunity arises because you never know when they might be of benefit to you like in this case. I know found a faster route to school which i will take everyday from now on. Change out of the ordinary is a good thing.
